In Case You Haven't Noticed... (Video)

If you're as clueless as I am, you never fully got the chance to recognize and celebrate that it's...

Enjoy it! But don't waste it.

I leave you with a quote from C.S. Lewis...

Question: Materialists and some astronomers suggest that the solar planetary system and life as we know it was brought about by an accidental stellar collision. What is the Christian view of this theory?

Lewis: If the solar system was brought about by an accidental collision, then the appearance of organic life on this planet was also an accident, and the whole evolution of Man was an accident too. If so, then all our present thoughts are mere accidents--the accidental by-product of the movement of atoms. And this holds for the thoughts of the materialists and astronomers as well as for anyone else's. But if their thoughts--i.e., of Materialism and Astronomy--are merely accidental by-products, why should we believe them to be true? I see no reason for believing that one accident should be able to give me a correct account of all the other accidents. It's like expecting that the accidental shape taken by the splash when you upset a milk-jug should give you a correct account of how the jug was made and why it was upset.

Lewis has such a way of saying things :D And notice that he didn't argue with scientific records and the like...that my friend....is the pure logic of Christianity ;)

Where'd you find that?

Yeah, I though it was a great quote. I got it from "Christian Reflections," which is a collection of short essays and letters by Lewis. The essay is called "Answers to Questions on Christianity."

vickychick: I think I get the gist of what you're saying. I'll look forward to reading about it in more detail when you blog about it. But it sounds like an adventure!
